The Canadian Fjord Horse Association supplies the microchips to its members.  The AVID microchips cost $25.00 per chip.  Instructions for implanting microchips will be enclosed with the microchips. 

 

Microchips must be implanted by a veterinarian.  If your vet does not have a scanner they are available from the following representatives.  Please advise your vet that the microchip used is an AVID microchip. When you order your chips please notify your representative if you require the scanner.  The scanner will be sent to you collect and you will return it to your representative collect. 
 

To pay for microchip please make cheque payable to the Canadian Fjord Horse Association (CFHA) and mail cheque to the Treasurer.
